As an iOS Engineer (f/m/x) at Tomorrow, you will play a crucial role in the ongoing development and enhancement of our Mobile Banking App, which is at the heart of our business. We take pride in providing a top-rated mobile banking experience to our customers, and your expertise will be key in introducing innovative features and ensuring seamless integration with our existing infrastructure.

In this position, you will collaborate effectively and proactively with Mobile and Backend Developers, Designers, and Product Owners in an agile environment with regular release cycles. Our flat organizational structure and streamlined decision-making processes promote a hands-on, cooperative atmosphere where your knowledge and skills have a significant impact on the entire app development process.

Your responsibilities will include: 

  • Developing innovative features for the product team
  • Maintaining, refactoring, and optimizing the iOS app
  • Participating in incident management and shipping app releases
What we're looking for
  • You have several years of experience building iOS apps using modern technologies and brand new iOS platform features.
  • You feel at home with Swift as our codebase is written in it.
  • You are familiar with SwiftUI and possibly some of the other latest features of the iOS platform (i.e. Swift Concurrency). 
  • You are eager to develop seamless native app experiences and beautiful custom UIs that are key to our user experience.
  • You thrive in an engineering environment with high professional standards and enjoy contributing with your problem solving and diligent work ethic. 
  • You bring first experience with testing processes because quality is something we strive for in every aspect of app development from the user interface, to having a maintainable architecture and source code.
  • If you bring (basic) KMM knowledge and skills, this would be a plus but it’s no must.
  • You are fluent in English.
  • You support the idea to create a better future for everyone by using money as a force for good.

Salary
53.000-67.000 EUR annual gross + one-time 5.000 EUR in virtual shares

Als iOS Engineer (w/m/d) bei Tomorrow spielst du eine zentrale Rolle in der kontinuierlichen Entwicklung und Verbesserung unserer Mobile-Banking-App. Wir legen großen Wert darauf, unseren Kund*innen ein erstklassiges mobiles Banking-Erlebnis zu bieten. Mit deinem Wissen und deiner Expertise trägst du dazu bei, innovative Funktionen einzuführen und eine nahtlose Integration in unsere bestehende Infrastruktur zu gewährleisten.
In dieser Position arbeitest du in einem agilen Umfeld mit regelmäßigen Releasezyklen eng und proaktiv mit Mobile- und Backend-Entwickler*innen, Designer*innen und Product Owner*innen zusammen. Unsere flache Organisationsstruktur und unsere schlanken Entscheidungsprozesse  fördern eine kooperative hands-on Atmosphäre, in der dein Wissen und deine Fähigkeiten einen wichtigen Einfluss auf den gesamten App-Entwicklungsprozess haben.

Deine Aufgaben:
  • Entwicklung innovativer Features für unser Produktteam
  • Pflege, Refactoring und Optimierung der iOS-App
  • Teilnahme am Incident Management und an der Auslieferung von App-Releases
Was Du mitbringen solltest
  • Du hast mehrere Jahre Erfahrung in der Entwicklung von iOS-Apps mit modernen Technologien und den neuesten Features der iOS-Plattform.
  • Da unser Code vollständig in Swift geschrieben ist, bist du mit dieser Sprache bestens vertraut.
  • Du kennst dich mit SwiftUI und idealerweise einigen weiteren aktuellen Features der iOS-Plattform (z. B. Swift Concurrency) aus.
  • Du möchtest nahtlose native App-Erlebnisse und ästhetische, User*innendefinierte UIs entwickeln, die für unsere User Experience entscheidend sind.
  • Du fühlst dich in einer Engineering-Umgebung mit hohen professionellen Standards wohl und bringst eine lösungsorientierte und gewissenhafte Arbeitsweise mit.
  • Du hast erste Erfahrungen mit Testprozessen, da Qualität für uns in allen Aspekten der App-Entwicklung – von der Benutzeroberfläche bis hin zur Wartbarkeit der Architektur und des Quellcodes – oberste Priorität hat.
  • Grundkenntnisse in KMM sind ein Plus, aber kein Muss.
  • Du sprichst sehr gut Englisch.
  • Du stehst hinter der Idee, Geld als Hebel für positiven Wandel zu nutzen und brennst darauf, mit uns zusammen ein besseres Morgen für alle zu gestalten.
