Als Compliance Manager*in übernimmst du gemeinsam mit unserer General Counsel die Gesamtverantwortung dafür, dass bei Tomorrow alle geltenden Gesetze und Vorschriften eingehalten werden. Hierzu gehört vor allem die Verantwortung für die Bearbeitung aller compliance-relevanten Fragestellungen und Anforderungen, insbesondere im Zusammenhang 
mit Banking und Investments. Darüberhinaus kümmerst du dich ganz allgemein um die (Weiter-)Entwicklung unserer Compliance-Prozesse, -Richtlinien und -Grundsätze – und sorgst dafür, dass unsere Mitarbeiter*innen im Hinblick auf dieses wichtige Thema geschult werden. 

Zu deinen Aufgaben gehören:
  • Du bist für die Risikobeurteilung, Überwachung und Einhaltung aller geltenden gesetzlichen Bestimmungen und Anforderungen sowie für die Umsetzung unserer internen Vorgaben in Deutschland zuständig.
  • Du beurteilst und bearbeitest aufsichtsrechtliche Audits für unsere Partnerin Solaris.
  • Du entwickelst die bestehende Compliance-Infrastruktur weiter, vor allem mit Blick auf aufsichtsrechtliche Notwendigkeiten.
  • Du berätst unsere Produktteams aus Compliance-Perspektive bei der Entwicklung neuer Produkte und bist darüber hinaus Ansprechpartner*in zu allen compliance-relevanten Fragestellungen für das Tomorrow-Team, die Geschäftsführung und externe Partner.
  • Du entwickelst bestehende Policies und Prozessanweisungen weiter und baust bestehende Kontrollverfahren unter Berücksichtigung der regulatorischen und rechtlichen Anforderungen weiter aus.
Was Du mitbringen solltest
  • Du hast einen Studienabschluss in BWL, VWL oder einem vergleichbaren Bereich und bringst eine Zusatzqualifikation in Compliance mit; eine abgeschlossene Berufsausbildung in der Bank ist von Vorteil, jedoch kein Muss.
  • Du bringst mehrere Jahre Berufserfahrung im Bereich Compliance und davon zumindest in Teilen im Finanzsektor mit, zum Beispiel bei einer Bank/einem FinTech, einem BaFin-regulierten Unternehmen, einer Wirtschaftsprüfungsgesellschaft oder Ähnlichem.
  • Du verfügst über gute Kenntnisse gesetzlicher und regulatorischer Vorgaben.
  • Du sprichst fließend Deutsch und Englisch.
  • Du stehst hinter der Idee, Geld als Hebel für positiven Wandel zu nutzen und brennst darauf, mit uns zusammen ein besseres Morgen für alle zu gestalten.

Vergütung
67.000-85.000 Euro Jahresbrutto

The role

As Compliance Manager (f/m/x), you will work together with our General Counsel to take full responsibility for ensuring that all applicable laws and regulations are adhered to at Tomorrow. First and foremost, this includes taking responsibility for handling all compliance-relevant matters and requirements, especially those related to banking and investments. You will also take care of the (further) development of our compliance processes, guidelines, and principles and ensure that our employees are trained on this important subject. 

Your responsibilities will include:
  • You will be responsible for the risk assessment, monitoring and adherence to all applicable statutory provisions and requirements, as well as for implementing our internal guidelines in Germany.
  • You will assess and process regulatory audits for our partner Solaris.
  • You will further develop the existing compliance infrastructure, especially with a view to regulatory requirements.
  • From a compliance perspective, you will advise our product teams on the development of new products and will also be the designated contact for all compliance-relevant matters for the Tomorrow team, management, and external partners.
  • You will further develop existing policies and procedural instructions and build on existing audit procedures, taking regulatory and statutory requirements into consideration.
What we're looking for
  • You have graduated with a degree in business studies, economics or a similar subject and have an additional qualification in compliance; an apprenticeship or vocational training at a bank would be an advantage but is not essential.
  • You already have several years of work experience in the compliance sector and have spent at least some of that in the finance sector, for example at a bank/a FinTech, a BaFin-regulated company, an auditing firm or similar.
  • You have excellent knowledge of statutory and regulatory provisions.
  • You are fluent in German and English.
  • You support the idea to create a better future for everyone by using money as a force for good.

Salary
