Worum es geht
Wir haben mit Tomorrow Großes vor! Unsere Vision: Nachhaltige Finanzen raus aus der Nische holen und in die Mitte der Gesellschaft bringen. Das ist verdammt viel Arbeit – also packen wir es an.

Als Data Protection Manager*in bist du Teil des Legal Teams und behältst in deiner Rolle insbesondere die Einhaltung der Datenschutzgesetze bei Tomorrow im Blick. Dabei stimmst du dich zu allen relevanten Themen mit unserem Datenschutzbeauftragten ab.

Zu deinen Aufgaben gehören:
  • Du berätst und unterstützt unsere Geschäftsführung und Kolleg*innen bei datenschutzrechtlichen Fragen.
  • Du bist für die Steuerung, Umsetzung und Weiterentwicklung des Datenschutzmanagements bei Tomorrow zuständig.
  • Du führst DSFA, Risikobewertungen sowie die Bearbeitung von Datentransfers in Drittländer durch.
  • Du recherchierst eigenständig zu datenschutzrechtlichen Fragestellungen und arbeitest entsprechende Handlungsempfehlungen aus.
Was Du mitbringen solltest
  • Du hast mindestens drei Jahre Berufserfahrung in einer vergleichbaren Position.
  • Du hast bereits relevante Fortbildungen im Bereich Datenschutz absolviert.
  • Du hast gute Kenntnisse rund um IT-Sicherheit und -Infrastruktur.
  • Die Zertifizierung zur*m Datenschutzbeauftragten ist von Vorteil, jedoch kein Muss.
  • Du sprichst fließend Deutsch und Englisch.
  • Du stehst hinter der Idee, Geld als Hebel für positiven Wandel zu nutzen und brennst darauf, mit uns zusammen ein besseres Morgen für alle zu gestalten.

Vergütung
24.000-31.000 Euro Jahresbrutto bei 20 Stunden/Woche

The role

As our Data Protection Manager (f/m/x), you will be part of our legal team and responsible for ensuring that data protection laws are adhered to at Tomorrow. To do this, you will consult with our Data Protection Officer on all relevant issues.

Your responsibilities will include:
  • You will advise and support our management and colleagues in all matters regarding data protection regulations.
  • You will be responsible for the regulation, implementation, and further development of Tomorrow’s data protection management.
  • You will carry out data protection impact assessments and risk assessments, and also process data transfers in third countries.
  • You will independently research issues relating to data protection law and develop the corresponding recommendations for action.
What we're looking for
  • You have at least three years of professional work experience in a similar position.
  • You have already completed relevant training courses on data protection.
  • You have excellent knowledge of IT security and infrastructure.   
  • If you have the certification as a qualified data protection officer this would be an advantage but it’s not essential.
  • You are fluent in German and English.
  • You support the idea to create a better future for everyone by using money as a force for good.

Salary
24.000-31.000 EUR annual gross based on 20 hours/week

We want to give all employees at Tomorrow the opportunity to organize their personal life and working hours flexibly and in keeping with their own requirements. Working from home and mobile work are therefore integral parts of our remote-friendly work culture. At the same time, we believe in the huge advantages of meeting up and working together in person. Our fantastic office in Hamburg is the perfect space for this and available to you any time. As our Data Protection Manager (f/m/x), it is generally possible to work remotely from anywhere in Germany for up to 100% of the time.
